I don't know much about this new guy, other than the fact that he was quite unenthusiastic at the show I went to recently. But then again, I would be too, it's probably a huge shock for him

He is officialy in a Sheffield called the dodgems, apparently all the Sheffield band used to help each other out if someone couldnt make a gig , some one would fill in.

There are so many unflattering pictures of him.
but I think that he's gorgeous.
However, he was unenthusicastic at the show I was at too, he wasn't the arctic monkeys vibe. and he was trying to hide his cast the entire show. -
Yes I agree, he just kinda stood there at each of the three shows I went to with him in the band....he probably knows that everyone misses Andy and wants him back, so he's probably being careful about acting as a "member" of the band and being all out there onstage.

Yeah I agree, it would be rather awkward if he just started doing some crazy stuff and stealing the spotlight from the other actual members of the band, or else making people start liking him enough they don't care for Andy anymore. So he keeps a low profile. Plus it must be a big change to do festivals and a US tour just coming from an obscure Sheffield band, maybe hes still a bit scared with the big crowds and all. I would be.
Anywho, the pictures are all unflattering cuz the only ones we have are people who took them directly below him, haha so you get a good look up his nostrils and not much else.

i went to the austin concert. those were the best hours of my life...ever. -

i dunno about embracing this Nick fellow i'm still an Andy purist and i live for the day when the monkeys announce that he's back...it may be a little too far fetched that they would reconcile but hey i love Andy....he made bass playing cool... i've even taken it up because of him....so for now i'm gonna pass on Nick, at least until they make it official...then i'll learn to love him as well...geesh all this love for total strangers....that's the power of music for ya
