Katie, your LSP experience is like an indirect 16th birthday present to me. so i hope you have an awesome time! and i can't wait to hear about it.
i'm off on the 23rd october (i think!), well whichever date they play Sheff. city hall.
my idea was that they'd open with the chamber then go straight into aotu or start with calm like you. just a thought... i like yours too katie, a pretty powerful opening. i bet they'll change it around though. -
that's cool! and happy birthday, even though it's about 2 months away!
i'm sure you'll have an amazing time too! i'd also love to hear about it.
now i'm thinking they'll close with standing next to me. i'm confused!!!
but my theory, which will not change, is that they will open with something powerful to get the crowd excited. definitely not aotu, though. that'll come towards the end, i think. possibly only the truth or calm like you.
they'll definitely change it around. i would imagine they'd get bored playing the same set every night for how long. -

you can just tell by their personalities and the way they just bounce off each other that it's going to be an interesting show!
i can't wait to talk about it!
not that i want to wish time away, i just hope that it's a fantastic show for the both of us! -
hearing them on live lounge got me WAAAAAAAAAAY excited for the show. with their witty banter and all...
i want them to actually do their cover of 'that's not my name'. i would pay extra for them to do that.
but yeah, i can't wait to post pictures, see other pictures, and talk about it! -

well, here we go.
gig was immense.
couldnt be better.
sounds better than the album.
waited around outside, met EVERYONE WITH ANY IMPORTANCE TO THE LAST SHADOW PUPPETS.
first up. BIG FUCKING NIGE he really is big and is my hero.
next, JAMES FORD and the bassist. james is lovely and so is the bassist.
then the conductor (put me in the terror pocket. hahaha)
then SEXY MILES KANE he is gorgeous in person. he called me hugtastic. my brother got on really really well with him.
then alex. wow wow wow. he got really excited when we told him we're off to sheff.
here are the pics. i am that short but no, not that fat. didnt get a pic with miles. gutted. -

I met alex turner before the LSP gig in stokcholm yesterday!

I was to scared to talk to him much though! But he was nice, and we had to stand like that for a while cuz my friend couldn't handle the camera!
We didn't get to talk to miles, he left just when we were about to get our autographs haha. -
