Here's a link to a cover the Arctic Monkeys played of Take It Or Leave It on a French tv show. I think this is great since its my favorite band playing a song by my second favorite band. They also played Brianstorm and Do Me A Favour on the show

That's true, the strokes version is classic, but this was a realy good version too

It's a niice cover, but this song is made for Julian's voice.

The strokes are my all time favorite band and the arctic monkeys are my second so, when i found out that they had coved a strokes song i was excited to see it. It was a great cover but like someone else said, the original is always better. And that song is meant for Julian's voice but alex did a heck of a job.

Agreed. It's hard for me to take it serious. I love Al but everytime I hear this track I think he sounds like Julian doing helium.
Anddd now I have the most overwhelming desire to listen to the original.

I was quite suprised that the arctic monkeys covered a song, just because they seem like a band that doesn't cover songs. Don't know why
